Here is the last sculpture piece that I've finished. The forms are made from scrap wood and then generously coated with house paint.

Blue 2/3 & Blue 3/3
I've been making these new forms out of scrap wood. In the end they will be wall mounted sculptures. This particular piece is going to be a vertical triptych. These three are on 5"x5" bases and the one in the foreground is the tallest at 14".
Finished Pedestals
I spent the first couple days at the Torpedo Factory building a couple of pedestals for my work. Here they be!
Biproduct #2 (few weeks later)
I like to keep a panel or canvas handy while I work. These pieces are essentially byproducts of my work in the studio.
If I have excess glue or paint or a wet brush I'll set/wipe it on the panel until I finish what I'm doing. The panels serve as a sort of log or story about what I've been doing, what materials or colors I've been using.
I usually keep the panel around until I feel like it has become its own finished piece or a good launching pad for a piece.
